COVID-19 (coronavirus) UPDATE 17th March, 2020
The IEPA’s 12th Early Intervention in Mental Health Conference is still going ahead as planned between September 20th-23rd 2020. However, we encourage people to register to benefit from the early bird rate, but NOT make a payment at this stage. This is to avoid cancellation fees should the conference be cancelled. Further updates will be on the website when more information is available.
Our paramount concern is the health and safety of our delegates, exhibitors and staff. We are closely monitoring the evolving situation via the World Health Organization (WHO) and will follow recommendations from official authorities in Brazil.

Symposia Submissions DEADLINE EXTENDED
As requests have been received by delegates to extend the symposia submission deadline due to many having just returned from leave after the holiday season we have extended the symposia submission deadline to 14th February, 2020. All abstracts must be submitted online by this date.

IEPA 12 Future Leader Awards
We are pleased to advise applications are now being accepted for the Future Leaders Awards to attend the IEPA 12 Early Intervention in Mental Health Conference, New Frontiers in Early Intervention, being held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil in September 2020.

The Larry J Seidman Travel Award
Following his death in 2017 the board of the IEPA created the Larry Seidman Award to honour Dr. Lawrence J. Seidman, an eminent neuropsychologist and Professor of Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School. In 2019 the Board decided to continue this award as the Larry Seidman Travel Award to help a clinician or clinical academic who supports mentoring attend the IEPA 12 Early Intervention in Mental Health Conference.
The Angelo Cocchi Travel Award
After his death in 2015, the board of the IEPA created the Angelo Cocchi Award to honour his contribution to the field of early intervention in psychosis. In 2019 the Board decided to continue this award as the Angelo Cocchi Travel Award to help a clinician or clinical academic who has made a significant contribution to the study or implementation of fidelity to an evidence-based model of early intervention attend the IEPA 12 Early Intervention in Mental Health Conference.

Registration is now open and attendees from Latin America and Students are advised that the limited discounted rates are selling fast.
Please Note: Once the reduced fee places are full, registrants will have to pay the full fee. Please register early to avoid disappointment.
IEPA Members receive discounted registration rates for participation in the conference. Membership is free of charge and open to all individuals with an interest in the area of early intervention in mental health.
