Welcome to the 8th International Conference on Early Psychosis

‘Neurobiology to Public Policy’ in San Francisco, USA

We look forward to welcoming to you to the 8th International Conference on Early Psychosis in the beautiful city of San Francisco.

Our theme for the meeting – From Neurobiology to Public Policy – reflects the enormous strides we are making in understanding the brain dysfunction in early psychosis, and in translating that knowledge to evidence-based treatment approaches that can have a real impact on public health.

An exciting group of international experts will speak at our plenary sessions on Neurobiology, Evidence-Based Treatments, and Public Policy. In addition, we will have panels, symposia, poster presentations, and satellite meetings on a variety of basic, translational, and clinical research topics.  We invite you to submit your scientific abstracts, as well as your ideas for innovative sessions and symposia, so that we can make this one of the most stimulating and memorable IEPA meetings ever.

And don’t forget that October in Northern California brings warm, sunny days and the harvest in nearby Sonoma and Napa Valleys. We hope you will take advantage of the many pleasures of the Bay Area—from beautiful drives through the wine country, to great meals in world-class restaurants, to walks up and down the hills of San Francisco.

See you in 2012!
